With Radiant Rebellion I presented a luminous dance performance honoring the legendary Ella Fitzgerald, the “First Lady of Song.” Blending movement, spoken word, and LED-whips/FiberFlies, the piece celebrates liberation from external labels and expectations as well as fighting discrimination with joy and ease. Performed as a poetic finale to the Reclaim the Night demonstration and the Import Export Street Festival on April 30, 2025, set to France Gall’s “Ella, elle l’a” in a reworked remix by MrCØ.
