Ver[N]eint was a performative collage showcasing a cross-section of racism and migration. Burning refugee shelters, far-right violent attacks, and large crowds marching against diversity in Germany – all of this is becoming increasingly everyday. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. The history of migration and racism goes far back. The causes are deep, structurally embedded, and often invisible. In Ver[N]eint I made these layers visible, navigating through pain, memory, and resistance with personal, fictional and documented stories, spoken theatre, live music and movement – inviting viewers to look closer.
